Two punching methods can be used for corrugated packaging – flat punching and rotary punching.
The name comes from the shape of the punch, in the case of flat punching using a flat punch, and in the case of rotary punching using a curved punch, which is attached to a cylinder.
Stamping means defining the shape of the packaging that depends on the customer’s requirements, graphics and shape.
For each box shape and size, a punch is required to be ordered from suppliers in the country or outside the country.
It uses three stages of realization:
Fingerprinting the cardboard sheet by cutting and pressing with the flat punch, waste disposal, and releasing the sheet into the stack.
It is mainly used in small size boxes and with shapes with special geometry.
Use a single stage of achievement :
Printing the cardboard sheet by cutting and pressing, as well as waste disposal are all done at the same time.
It is mainly used in large size boxes with common geometric shapes.
Because there is only one stage, it has a much better yield than flat stamping.
